It′s a been a long road of hard work and attention to detail, but G-Force 2.6 is finally ready. Highlights: 77 new configs (wow!), support for J. River MEDIA CENTER, support for Sonique 2, support for unicode track text, a much better-looking and more responsive FFT in the G-Force stand-alone application, Mac OS X native support for iTunes and the G-Force stand-alone (in the form of Mach-O, CoreAudio, and CoreGraphics/Quartz), support for 8 bit full screen mode in iTunes for Mac OS X (major speed improvement oveer 32 bit mode), many cosmetic improvements, powerful new interpreter functionality, hand-tweaked touch-ups to many .MAP ColorMaps, RGB expression support in ColorMaps, no longer limited to a 1 megapixel frame size, documentation updates, and many bug fixes. See the documentation for the complete version history. G-Force Gold users also get: 9 additional new configs and support for album cover artwork (note that only iTunes and J. River MEDIA CENTER currently support album cover art). The album cover art support is very sharp-looking and gets addicting once you see it in action inside G-Force. Advanced users: because the G-Force folder structure has changed, the installer deletes the old folder′s contents during installation (so any custom files you wish to keep should be removed from your G-Force folder before you run the installer). Please submit in detailed problem reports and any and all feedback — your suggestions and comments count and without them, G-Force can′t get better! And last but not least, big thanks to all the the config contributors (Ted, Andy Cabrera, John Protopapas, Ryan Edwards, and others), forum users that have vocalized a supportive attitude, users who have submitted feedback, and everyone else who′s been supportive. It all adds up, and that support makes things better for everyone in the long run.

SoundSpectrum Darkroom (formerly known as G-Force Video Exporter) is now posted. Special thanks goes out to users who′ve been waiting patiently for the last month — you should find it was worth the wait. If you use it, please submit feedback and problem reports so that we can quickly stabilze it. Currently, SoundSpectrum Darkroom is only available for Mac OS. WhiteCap 4.5.7 fixes a couple minor cosmetic issues and fixes a WMP install issue. G-Force 2.5.2 has 16 new DeltaFields (thanks Ryan Edwards!) and brings Windows users all the 2.5.1 additions. Mac OS X iTunes users can now either download an installer or non-installer archive.
